Seating Information

We are excited to continue “Seating Communities” at MOTION 2020! Every attendee, together with either their group or family / friends they completed registration with, will be allocated into a Seating Community. With your Seating Community, you will rotate throughout the room each day for Conference Main Sessions.

The Advantages of Seating Communities

  1. Allocated Seating Sections: You will be able to sit with the group that you completed registration with for the duration of the conference, and you will know in advance what section you will be seated in. Together, with other people in your Seating Community, you will have a great opportunity to make new friends, as you will be experiencing the conference together from start to finish.
  2. No Need To Rush To Save Seats: Although seats are first-come, first-serve in your Seating Community, you will always have guaranteed seats waiting for you in your assigned section. This will alleviate the need for you to fight the crowd in order to find seats. Please note: All seats do become General Admission 10 minutes before the session begins, so it is important to be on time for main sessions.
  3. A Variety of Viewpoints: Each seating community will move around the arena on a rotation basis, giving you the opportunity to experience MOTION from different angles. Each Seating Community will be assigned a new seating section for each day.

Important Seating Community Information

The Seating Community that you/your group is placed in is determined by the date of your registration completion and the size of your group. You will receive more details about your Seating Community with your admission information for MOTION 2020!


Pricing for MOTION varies depending on how many registrants you are bringing. We recommend registering together for the maximum discount available. Please note that there are several price breaks leading up to conference, so the sooner you register, the more you save! Click here for complete details on pricing.

The registration fee covers your admission to all 3 days of the conference and the materials needed for the event. It does not include meals, transportation, or lodging.

Your registration fee covers your conference admission only. Please visit the food page for more information about meals and snacks, and the lodging page for more information about local accommodations. You may want to bring additional money to purchase MOTION merchandise and we ask that you pray about contributing an amount towards this year’s MOTION Cause.

All seating at MOTION will be divided into Seating Communities based on your registration date. Those who register first will be placed in the best Seating Community rotations. There are many benefits to this seating system, and we have organized it for your group to have the best conference experience possible! No. We only need the name of the Group Leader who will check in at the conference, the total number of attendees, and their age groups.

Yes. This enables each individual to check in by name at separate times if needed.

Day and session passes are not available. We recommend that you reserve your place now by registering in full for the conference.

Yes! Every registration gives you access to all sessions of MOTION Conference.

If you paid a $20 deposit, you will receive an email with further instructions on completing your payment for MOTION. You must complete your payment by April 1, 2020.

You may pick up your wristband and lanyard between 12:00pm and 6:00pm on July 23, 2020. More details for your location will be sent at a later date.

Your wristband and lanyard serve as your admission for MOTION. Your wristband indicates your Community Group, your lanyard indicates your Seating Community for Main Sessions. You will receive an email in July with information about your Seating Community. Please check your email, print the document, and bring it to check-in with you to receive your wristband and lanyard on July 23, 2020.

Your wristband for MOTION will be determined by your age group- Junior High, High School, College, or Youth Leader. Each wristband will be used to help organize Community Groups and will not play a role in your seating in the Arena. You must wear your wristband at all times.

Yes, if your group consists of the same age-group. No, if your group consists of more than one age group. There will be no person assigned to a Community Group alone.

No. You will only need to send one adult representative (preferably the Group Leader whose name is on the registration) to check-in with us. We do not need individual names from your group, we only need to see your Group Leader. Please have your church information readily available, as well as the document emailed to you indicating your Seating Community.
