What to Expect
During our main sessions, we will engage in worship and hear a powerful message from different speakers and artists.
MOTION Conference Community Groups are designed to connect and engage students in life-giving relationships and lead them to dig deeper into the truths shared during main sessions. Community Groups provide the opportunity for the bigger main sessions to become small and more personal. Through Community Groups, students will be motivated, encouraged, and equipped to live their lives in MOTION.
Community Groups are divided by age (Middle School, High School, College).
YOUTH LEADER SESSION
If you are an adult youth pastor or leader, we invite you to join us for the Youth Leader Session. We will have a designed experience specifically for you to connect with one another and receive valuable time with some of our guest pastors and leaders. We want you to leave the conference refreshed, encouraged, and empowered to lead your students like never before! Additionally, we would love for you to be connected with our MOTION Team! Check out our relationships + resourcing hub, MOTION House.
No Sleep Til MOTION
We appreciate your adherence to the following guidelines that allow us to make gathering for this MOTION 2021 a reality. Below are some of the precautions we will be taking this year to be able to safely gather in-person with consideration of COVID-19 and respect to local guidance and authorities.
MASKS + FACE COVERINGS
Masks that cover the nose and mouth completely will be required at all times during MOTION 2021. Face coverings will be required both indoors and outdoors, for your protection and the protection of those around you, in accordance with local ordinances.
Conference attendees are responsible for providing their own masks for MOTION 2021. Face shields without cloth masks will not be considered acceptable face coverings.
Teams and attendees will be permitted to be unmasked while actively eating or drinking.
MOTION Conference does not possess the skill or expertise to allow exemptions to this mask policy based on pre-existing medical conditions. As such, there will be no medical mask exemptions for MOTION 2021, including for those who have received any portion of the COVID-19 vaccine.
During MOTION 2021, each attendee will be part of a pod (their campus, church group, or household). The MOTION team will intentionally ensure that physical distancing between groups is always possible in Main Sessions, Community Groups, and during transitions in-between spaces.
Conference attendee seating will be reserved with each group with distancing in mind from the nearest group.
In addition, we will have teams on-site throughout the property to help remind attendees to maintain physical distance at all times.
We will ask attendees to maintain the recommended 6-foot physical distance between groups at all times, even in areas that are not marked with reminders. For the safety of one another, refrain from hugging, high-fiving, handshakes, or any other physical contact outside of your immediate group with you at the event.
CLEANING + SANITATION
Surface disinfecting will occur each night.
In addition, the MOTION team will regularly clean and disinfect high-traffic surfaces, disinfect seats daily, and maintain safe food service practices.
Hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, and cleaning supplies will be readily available.
